Brian Micner was called to the Ontario Bar in 2009 after Articling for a Prominent Criminal Law Firm. Since 2009 he has focused on Criminal and Quasi-Criminal law matters, Regulatory Matters, and Immigration Law.
Motivated by a desire to practice law consistently and to advocate passionately with the understanding that every legal matter is unique and hiring a lawyer for some clients could be one of the biggest decisions of their life, Brian listens carefully to clients and represents them fiercely. Brian thinks outside the box when it comes to problem solving and resolution but is never afraid to take on the fight to defend his client’s interests.
Brian has represented clients in front of numerous Boards and Ontario Courts at all levels including the Ontario Court of Justice, The Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and The Federal Court of Canada.
Brian is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario and is a current and active member of The Criminal Lawyer’s Association and the Extremely Serious Panel of Criminal Law Matters for Legal Aid Ontario.
When Brian is not at work, he spends most of his time with his family, he is an avid sports fan and you can find him playing and watching hockey and football most weekends.
